Robert W. Poulsen, Jr

Robert Poulsen, affectionately known as Buddy, is the President of Genetic
Potential Products Inc. Buddy spent 36 years in the landscape/irrigation industry,
owning Hortigate—his own successful company, for 30 of those years.

Recognizing his love of plants, he became an arborist who specialized in pruning
and cultivating Florida native plants and trees. He also owned Bigger Bud
Nursery, where he grew rare palms, tropical plants and bonsai.

All this hand-to-earth work ignited his interest in nature and the role biology plays
in the beautifully diverse creation of Earth. This love of nature lead him to
discover how to harness some of It’s great power and supply it to others to help
restore life to soil everywhere.

Buddy believes in God, family, and integrity. He carries these values throughout
his life and considers his clients to be friends, not just customers. He is
passionate about cooking, music, and Dorothy—his wife of 38 years.
